Automatic Driver Recognition

The ScorpionTrack S5 benefits from automatic driver recognition, this comes in the form of a small battery operated Driver tag. Once the vehicles ignition is switched on the system will scan to find the tag. If the Driver Tag is found all is well, the authorised tag is present and therefore most likely the authorised driver/owner too. If the vehicles ignition is switch on and the Driver tag is not found the system will send an alert to the monitoring centre. From here the team will call you directly to ascertain whether or not a theft has taken place. If so, monitoring centre personnel will liase with the appropriate police force and provide positioning information and data to locate and hopefully recover your vehicle.

ADR Technology

ScorpionTrack’s driver recognition tags use Bluetooth Low Energy technology to communicate with the system. Battery life is around 18-24months before needing a replacement battery.
